SAY NO TO LABOR’S BELT AND ROAD DEAL

Daniel Andrews’ Belt and Road deal with the Chinese Government is not in Victoria’s interests.

Victorian Liberal Leader Michael O’Brien has announced that if elected, a Liberal Nationals Government would immediately move to withdraw Victoria from the dud deal.

While the Andrews Labor government has handed multi-billion dollar contracts to Chinese government-owned companies to build Victorian infrastructure, Victorian farmers have been hit with an 80 per cent tariff on their barley exports to China.

The Liberal Nationals believe that our sovereignty, our security and our jobs must not be compromised.

Victorian trade must be based on genuine mutual interests, not on secretive political deals.

The Liberal Nationals will always put the interests of Victorians first.

1. Do you support Michael O’Brien and the Liberal Nationals’ plan to withdraw Victoria from Daniel Andrews’ Belt and Road deal with the Chinese Government?
2. Are you concerned about the Andrews Government refusing to rule out borrowing all or some of the proposed new $24.5 billion of Victorian debt from the Chinese Government?
3. Would you like Victorian Liberal Leader Michael O’Brien to keep you updated on any development regarding Daniel Andrews’ deal with the Chinese Government and Victoria’s growing debt borrowings?

There’s still more work to be done.
